Overview

Collectors are a vital part of the art world, and their influence affects the art we see in museums, the prices paid for art, and the contemporary artists who emerge. This course will  focus on the historic as well as contemporary tastemakers who have helped to shape the world of art. Each session will focus on a single collector, allowing participants to understand various collecting strategies past and present.
