Celebrate #Dante700: In 2021, we celebrate the 700 years from Dante’s death in 1321. Follow Dante in his journey through Hell (Inferno), Purgatory and, finally, Paradise (Paradiso) as visualised by the great masters in history of painting and sculpture through the ages. This four-day short course will discuss paintings and sculptures that were inspired by Dante, from the Trecento (14th century) and Giotto to the 19th century and Modernity.
