In this masterclass, jewellery historian Vanessa Cron guides participants to explore the glamour and exquisite craftsmanship of Haute Joaillerie from the Belle Époque to the present day. Iconic fashion photography and rare archival images reveal the context of the creation and stylistic evolution of fine jewellery in the twentieth century, bringing the art of jewellery design to life.
Lectures are complemented by designer sharing by renowned jewellery designer Cindy Chao, and a private viewing of Brenda Kang’s antique and vintage jewellery collection, as well as a guided tour by Vanessa Cron of the Hong Kong Jewellery and Gem Fair, the world’s leading jewellery fair.
